Dr. Vakharia completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and thereafter obtained Board Certification. Having a profound interest in the intricacies of Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, Dr. Vakharia continued with a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. During this period, Dr. Vakharia was involved in extensive research that led to a travel grant award to present a paper at an AAP meeting, of which an abstract was subsequently published in the January 1992 issue of JACI.
